Virgin Pulse designs technology that cultivates good lifestyle habits for employees. Configured to complement an organization’s culture, Virgin Pulse’s technology and well-being experiences drive superior outcomes for both the business and the individual.

Once a year, Virgin Pulse brings their key customers and partners, internal product teams and leadership together for their Annual User Conference – Thrive Summit. The summit engages Human Resource professionals in an active discussion about Employee Wellness and Development. Attendees range from C-level to HR professionals and represent a wide-range of organizations from Fortune 100’s to companies on a fast growth path.


In 2016, Virgin Pulse wanted to create an engaging, branded environment that provided plenty of opportunities for networking and idea sharing and placed the discussion of employee wellness right at the center of every conversation from the General Session to the breakout tracks and into the evening events.



massAV worked with the Virgin Pulse team to design an experience that took advantage of many of the architectural features of the venue and provided a connected look and feel between the general session and breakouts through unique lighting designs.  To bring the event brand to life, the Thrive Summit logo was created as a center stage set piece. Attendees entering these sessions were welcomed with the warm colors and design of the Virgin Pulse brand ready to engage in dynamic conversations.

To help capture the event journey from the attendees’ perspective, a social media wall was displayed as attendees entered the general session ballroom and using #thrivesum enabled attendees to document their experiences through photos.  Further, the massAV video crew was present daily to capture key program highlights, interview attendees and capture the key moments.


The event was a tremendous success.  Attendees were fully engaged from the moment they entered the ballroom into each breakout track and evening party. The event branding, lighting and dynamic content all helped to drive Virgin Pulse’s important message of Employee Wellness to their guests throughout the two day event.
