Patricia A. Basteri, President
After the death of Laurence P. Basteri, Founder of massAV, Pat took an
active part in the day to day operation of massAV. Over the past 20 years
her focus has been on building an organization where respect for employees,
commitment to the team, commitment to our clients and controlled growth are
driving forces behind what we do everyday. As the leader of the sales team
and the financial and HR areas of the company, Pat’s resources are the
supervisors, managers and directors of the company as well as the
experienced leadership team whose commitment to our client and each other is
unrivaled. Pat is a member of the Rental and Staging Council of InfoComm
International and a member of the local business association.

Jeffrey Robinson, Vice President
Jeff has over 20 years of experience in the staging/audio
visual/hotel areas of the AV industry. He served as a
Director of AV Services and Operations for a national
company at several Sheraton, Westin and Marriott properties.
Later in his career, he was the Director of Operations for
Technical Services, managing multi-million dollar events for
a regional production company. Today, Jeff leverages his
staging and operations experience and industry relationships
as he manages and builds the reputation of the staging
division of massAV. Jeff is a member of the Rental and
Staging Council of InfoComm International.

Eugene Lapidas, Controller
Gene is a CPA and controller of massAV bringing over 20
years of experience to managing the accounting department
for all regions.
Gene is primarily responsible for preparation and reporting
of financial information. Gene manages the banking and
insurance relationships as well as the IT/communications
contracts.

Stephen Santomenna, Creative Director
Steve began his career as a sound designer and accumulated
numerous professional design credits in internationally
recognized regional theatres, on Broadway and throughout
Europe and Asia. While directing operations at a laser
display and entertainment company, Steve was directly
responsible for all aspects of performance, production,
manufacturing and customer service. In his later career as
Director of Technical Services, Steve utilized his creative
abilities as well as his extensive experience collaborating
and coordinating with contractors, designers, and trades
people for larger events. Today, Steve creates video
production pieces, PowerPoint template design for the
clients of massAV. He is also part of the sales team working
with clients to develop and enhance their meeting, develop
graphic and message themes, create realistic renderings for
client events and help the sales team and clients come up
with creative concepts for their meeting and events.

Steve Hubbard, Director of Production
Steven Hubbard, Boston area event production veteran, has
recently joined our production team as Director of
Production.
With over 24 years in the event and production business,
Steve has pretty much seen, and done, everything. From
corporate events to amusement parks, beauty pageants to
all-star games, traveling shows and permanent installations,
Hubbard's been involved with some of the industry's
preeminent stagings and events.
Steve has worn many different hats in his career - producer,
production manager, stage manager, director -- and worked on
projects all across the US and around the world establishing
a solid corps of production contacts and resources. And with
his extensive experience with professional sports
organizations and corporate clients, Steve is a perfect fit
for massAV.
Steve has worked with the NFL and the New England Patriots,
the Boston Celtics and the NBA, Major League Baseball and
the Red Sox, several NHL teams, the Ryder Cup, and the
Special Olympics, among others. Corporate clients include JP
Morgan, Ocean Spray, Gillette, Johnson & Johnson, AT&T, HP,
Sun Life of Canada, and Fidelity Investments. On the
entertainment side, he's worked with the Miss Massachusetts
Pageant, Trump's World Fair Casino, the San Diego Zoo, Six
Flags Parks, Busch Gardens, and Foxwoods Casino.
"I've had the opportunity to work on some really high
profile events and some of the top corporations in the
world," Steve responded when he was asked what he enjoyed
most about his work. "And when you get by all the hoopla and
fanfare, a lot of which we're responsible for creating, it
always comes down to how effective you are in delivering the
message, and how well you execute. It doesn't matter how big
or small the event. My job is to be sure the audience leaves
on a positive note and my client is happy."
